刘济荣

刘济荣美术作品

1931年出生于广东兴宁。是著名中国人物画家，广州美术学院中国画系教授，硕士研究生导师，岭南画派纪念馆董事，西江大学名誉教授，肇庆学院名誉教授，嘉应大学客座教授(1990-1993年兼嘉应教育学院美术系主任，客座教授)中国美术家协会会员，广东省美术家协会常务理事(1995-2000年)。
1957年毕业于中南美术专科学校，师关山月、黎雄才。毕业留校至今在广州美术学院国画系任教。
1961年创作《落户》东欧各国展览后收藏于中国美术馆。
1962年进中央美术学院深造，师从叶浅予，蒋兆和。
1965-1966年受文化部之邀为人民大会堂西藏厅作画。
1980年参加文化部召开全国中国人物画创作研讨会，并在藻鉴堂作画。
1983年岭南美术出版社出版《刘济荣画选》。
1987年应澳中友协之邀赴澳大利亚五洲十二间高等艺术院校讲学、访问、举办个人画展。
1998年《黄遵宪》为新加坡李光耀收藏。
1991年被澳门市政厅应聘参加澳门第八届美展评委。
1991年赴新加坡友谊展览中心举办个人画展。
1991年台湾台中文化中心收藏《孙中山先生》。
1992年参加香港大会堂《中国美术家十老联展》。
1994年应马来西亚华人文化协会之邀赴吉隆坡举办个展及马来西亚艺术学院讲学等活动。
1995年于香港光华新闻文化中心举办《刘济荣、刘诗东父子画展》。
1997年《珠江激浪》参加纪念周恩来诞生一百周年《人民的好总理》画展，并为毛主席纪念堂珍藏。
2000年应邀赴台湾作艺术交流访问活动。
2002年国家人事部授予《当代中国杰出人才奖》。
作品还有《接桃》、《绘新图》、《老帅与小将》等。出版有《人物画谱》、《牦牛画法》、《刘济荣画集》等。

刘老师2016年12月15日凌晨3点13分突发心肌梗塞于广医二院去世，享年86岁。
